The ceiling power rail (DSS) to be installed enables travel speeds of up to 250 km/h. This means that the travel time with public transport (ÖBB) from Graz to Klagenfurt can be significantly shortened.
The main electrification work began in March 2024 and is scheduled to be completed in October 2024.
Members of the supervisory board and EUROPTEN employees took part in the visit to the construction site on June 4, 2024 and were given the opportunity to get an idea of the employees' expertise and the challenges of the project.
