The dedication took place in June 2022, clearing the way for another branch of European Trans Energy GmbH.
After the purchase agreement was signed, the laying of the foundation stone took place on 07.10.2022. Wilfried Rendl, CEO EUROPTEN and Christian Auer, Technical Business Unit Manager Overhead Lines Austria, presented the project. Dr. Hannes Androsch, Chairman of the Supervisory Board EUROPTEN, spoke a few words about the challenges to supply the Austrian population with domestic electricity and to further expand the supply.
Mayor LA Martin Mayerl explained the importance of the region as a business location and highlighted the positive effects of a continued development of the region.
The start of construction is planned for 2023.
