The management gave a review of the successful year 2024 and presented the goals for the coming year.
In addition to theoretical knowledge, the program offered numerous practical and interactive exercises. Among other things, the focus was on occupational safety and rescue at height. Difficult situations with possible obstructions were simulated as part of the health day of a major German health insurance company integrated into the training week. Using 3D glasses, these situations could be displayed and experienced in a particularly realistic way. Using weights and joint bandages, age simulation suits gave an insight into how loss of strength or joint stiffness in advanced age can affect everyday working life.
The “Earbox” demonstrated the insulating effect of hearing protection and allowed participants to experience simulated hearing loss. The “smoothie bike” provided additional exercise. The participants had to pedal hard to get the blender going to make a smoothie.
The annual training course ended with a festive Christmas party, which the participants used to chat, network and meet new colleagues.
