Central Burgenland gets a new line with 141 pylons
Plans for a new pipeline through the picturesque Mittelburgenland region have been underway for several years. A number of hurdles, such as an environmental impact assessment, had to be overcome. Following a positive assessment by the authorities, the construction of the pipeline was put out to tender by Netz Burgenland. After an intensive project planning phase, Europten was awarded the contract to erect 141 new pylons. The total length is 42 kilometers and is divided into 3 construction lots. These will be covered in their entirety by Europten. We are particularly proud to be able to contribute to a sustainable energy transition and look forward to implementing the project on schedule for our client.
